Believe The Pledge?

What would make a sane person do the thing that s/he knows doesn’t work…again? Clearly, that person is anything other than sane. In that vein I ask, why would Americans believe the Republican’s “Pledge to America?” The Republican’s, during their 14-year reign of Congress, dishonored their “Contract With America” by raping the country’s coffers and sending it into a financial tailspin. If they never apologized for breaking the contract, why would we trust them on a non-binding pledge?

A veteran CBS Radio News correspondent was arrested early Saturday on drug charges after police searched his Northwest Washington home and found marijuana plants growing in his yard. Officers arrested 60 year old Howard Arenstein and his wife, Orly Katz, 57, at their home in the 3500 block of T Street and charged them with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, police. How will the wheels of justice turn for him?
